Jogger pulls boy from river in Saskatoon

Brad Pilon said that he heard two kids screaming for help. That's when he noticed the boy in the river.
An eight-year-old boy, who had been playing along the riverbank with his seven-year-old cousin, had slipped and fallen into the water. The current from the river quickly pulled the eight year old away from the shoreline. Brad said he heard the boy screaming that he couldn’t swim and then saw him briefly go under the water.
“It was a case of being in the right place at the right time,” Pilon said. “I (saw) this little boy in trouble and did everything I could possibly do to reach him.”
Pilon immediately ran into the water and grabbed the boy, swimming him back safely to the shore. The two boys were treated at the scene and then driven home by Saskatoon police officers.
